I'm Nikolai, the founder of Pesca Innovations. We design and manufacture our ski and snowboard storage right here in Colorado, and most of it started as a problem we ran into with our own gear. Here is how to store skis and snowboards on the wall the right way, and which of our holders is best for each situation.

Vertical or Horizontal?
Vertical holders hold your skis vertically by the toe binding, so they take almost no wall width. That makes them the best choice for garages, closets, and mudrooms. Horizontal holders lay the skis, which take up more width but turn your gear into a display piece. Pick vertical to save space, horizontal to show it off.
What We Learned Building These
We talked to a lot of skiers and riders before we designed anything, and two things came back clearly.
One group wanted their gear displayed like art on the wall, not hidden in a corner. That is exactly why we built our Low Profile Horizontal Holders: they mount flat and slim so the gear, not the bracket, is what you see. They come in three designs, Low Profile, Snowflake, and Mountain, so you can match the look to your space, and each one has an optional gear holder to keep all your gear in one place.
The other group was frustrated with the vertical holders on the market, and so were we, for two reasons:
- Most are too short. When the holder is not tall enough, the ski tips lean into the wall and, over a season of pulling gear in and out, leave nicks and dents. Ours are tall enough to keep the skis completely off the wall.
- Most are round, but bindings are not. The tip of a ski binding is either round or more square-like. Most ski holders are round, so when a binding is more square, it sits poorly in a round cradle, causing the skis to rock side to side and tip out easily. Our unique design accommodates both round and square-like bindings while greatly reducing the side-to-side movement.

Low Profile Horizontal Holder

Installing
Find your studs, mark your points, and drive the included screws. Studs provide the strongest hold, which is why our mounts are spaced for standard 16-inch stud spacing, with an anchor option for when a mount lands on drywall. It only takes a few minutes with a drill.
